According to new research from Google Maps, the Tuesday before Thanksgiving is the worst day in the Boston area and the Saturday after the holiday is the worst in the Providence area.
Researchers said they looked at traffic conditions in 21 cities from the Monday before Thanksgiving through the Sunday after Thanksgiving for both 2012 and 2013.
They also found that if you have to travel on Wednesday, the best time to leave is before 2 p.m. or after 7 p.m.
